I wear pink.

This outfit is a bit of shameless product promotion — I’m wearing Vanitas Vesture’s special edition Breast Cancer Awareness top.  All the proceeds go to Making Strides against Breast Cancer, an organization dedicated to increasing awareness and raising funds to help find a cure.  You can find out more here.  Pink is not a color I wear often, but I make an exception to help draw attention to this worthy cause.

Anyway, this is a bit of a transitional outfit, for the beginning of the fall season.  Wear those summer dresses one last time; dig through the closet or inventory to see what can be salvaged from last year and what’s too outdated.  This particular look focuses on textures and patterns, contrasting the squiggly pattern of the top with the scales of the dress; playing the nubby tights against the soft smooth leather boots.  Abalone jewelry add shine to the outfit, and it’s all topped off by some awesomely wind-blown hair.
